2Xtreme - screenshots #1

2Xtreme is the sequel of the megahyped Extreme Games. Extreme Games sold more than all the other PSX games. 2Xtreme is much the same as the first one. You go biking, snowboarding, skating, and you get the chance to try out roller blading. For every sport there are 3 different tracks. This may seem a lot, but the tracks look exactly the same..almost anyway. There are a lot of options that make the game last long, but with tracks that look exactly the same, is it really necessary since you'll be bored quite fast anyway?

2Xtreme - screenshots #2 When I first played Extreme Games I thought it was very cool. Today, I don't like it at all. The strangest thing about 2Xtreme is that Sony hasn't worked anything with the graphics. They look almost the same as in the first one. Almost even worse... The sound is some kind of metal that isn't that bad, but gets a little annoying after a while. The controls are only so-so because you might have problems steering away sometime. The game will last a while since it's so hard to beat the computer, but all the levels look EXACTLY the same. The best thing about this game is the split screen mode. That makes the game quite much funnier. Still, I'm a little concerned about this game. I don't think it's that good. I'm not telling you that this game sucks. I'm just telling you that it isn't much fun. Actually, I like the first one a little better!

There are better games out there on the market, but if you really need an OK racing game, go for this one! (the replay value is so low because the levels look the same, and therefore it gets boring very quickly!)
